About Game Microsoft Flight Simulator X Steam Edition Free Download v1.18.14.0 ![]() The use of passive voice allows speakers to organize stretches of discourse by placing figures other than the agent in subject position. ![]() Many languages have both an active and a passive voice this allows for greater flexibility in sentence construction, as either the semantic agent or patient may take the syntactic role of subject. This is not always the case for example in Japanese a passive-voice construction does not necessarily decrease valence. Thus, turning an active sense of a verb into a passive sense is a valence-decreasing process ("detransitivizing process"), because it syntactically turns a transitive sense into an intransitive sense. Typically, in passive clauses, what is usually expressed by the object (or sometimes another argument) of the verb is now expressed by the subject, while what is usually expressed by the subject is either omitted or is indicated by some adjunct of the clause. In contrast, the sentences "Someone pulled down the tree" and "The tree is down" are active sentences. For example, in the passive sentence "The tree was pulled down", the subject ( the tree) denotes the patient rather than the agent of the action. This contrasts with active voice, in which the subject has the agent role. In a clause with passive voice, the grammatical subject expresses the theme or patient of the main verb – that is, the person or thing that undergoes the action or has its state changed. A passive voice construction is a grammatical voice construction that is found in many languages. ![]() Don’t say I didn’t warn ya! Don’t drink this BEER! ![]() Szilard suddenly came up with the answer in September 1933 - the chain reaction - while watching the traffic lights turn green in Russell Square in London. He later wrote that Wells showed him "what the liberation of atomic energy on a large scale would mean". Szilard believed that the splitting of the atom could produce vast energy. But the same year the Hungarian emigre physicist Leo Szilard read The World Set Free. (D) By 1932 British scientists had succeeded in splitting the atom for the first time by artificial means, although some believed it couldn't produce huge amounts of energy. In the article, Churchill wrote: "Might a bomb no bigger than an orange be found to possess a secret power to destroy a whole block of buildings - nay to concentrate the force of a thousand tons of cordite and blast a township at a stroke?" This idea of the orange-sized bomb is credited by Graham Farmelo, author of Churchill's Bomb, directly to the imagery of The World Set Free. Churchill grasped the danger of technology running ahead of human maturity, penning a 1924 article in the Pall Mall Gazette called "Shall we all commit suicide?". (C) The two men met and discussed ideas over the decades, especially as Churchill, a highly popular writer himself, spent the interwar years out of political power, contemplating the rising instability of Europe. Winston Churchill credited Wells for coming up with the idea of using aeroplanes and tanks in combat ahead of World War One. He had a track record of predicting technological innovations. Wells was fascinated with the new discoveries. "When it became apparent that the Rutherford atom had a dense nucleus, there was a sense that it was like a coiled spring," says Andrew Nahum, curator of the Science Museum's Churchill's Scientists exhibition. The idea was that solid elements might be made up of tiny particles in atoms. ![]() (B) The story of the atom bomb starts in the Edwardian age, when scientists such as Ernest Rutherford were grappling with a new way of conceiving the physical world. What he couldn't predict was how a strange conjunction of his friends and acquaintances - notably Winston Churchill, who'd read all Wells's novels twice, and the physicist Leo Szilard - would turn the idea from fantasy to reality, leaving them deeply tormented by the scale of destructive power that it unleashed. He even thought it would be dropped from planes. HG Wells first imagined a uranium-based hand grenade that "would continue to explode indefinitely" in his 1914 novel The World Set Free. ![]() One day you dream up the idea of a bomb of infinite power. (A) Imagine you're the greatest fantasy writer of your age. So how did science fiction writer HG Wells predict its invention three decades before the first detonations? The atom bomb was one of the defining inventions of the 20th Century. The use of deformers also offers the following advantages. The use of deformers eliminates the need to create each shape, since parameters can be attached to the deformers. This would take time to create and be difficult to manage. In addition, because of the Y movement, the number of shapes that need to be made keeps increasing. With a deformation of 0 for the eyebrow, it may appear that the X movement has been applied correctly, but with a deformation of -1, multiple shapes must be created, such as 0, +10, and -10 for angle X, and conversely, 0, +10, and -10 for angle X with a deformation of +1. Suppose XY movement is applied directly to the ArtMesh of the eyebrow without using a deformer. This section explains why adding a deformer for XY is needed. Add Deformer for Angle XYįirst, add a deformer for XY to the previously created model. Once the face movement is understood, the body can be moved in the same way. To handle such a situation in an easy way, we simply take our tileset in the database and copy it into an empty slot. ![]() You have to manually select the tile to work with a single layer, and. We could maybe try to use parallax overlays that we turn off and on or have one event with the bridge image and the others “just” with the passabilites, but there is a much easier way. VX had two layers (autotile/regular tile bottom layer, and then regular tile top layer) and Ace has 3 (two auto-tile bottom layers and a regular tile top layer) In Ace, like in VX, when copying a particular tile, it disregards the layer and copies all three layers of tiles. Now imagine we might have a huge canyon like area with several different bridges which would clutter our map with events that are pretty annoying to set up and depending on the amount of these and size of our map could cause lag for players with an old computer if we have a lot of other stuff going on on that map. rpgmaker rpgmakertilesets tilesets hishimy rpgmakervxace. The tilesets Im looking for include modern building themed, including hospital, school, buildings, outside (town-like preferrably), if theyre VX Ace-like style, it would be better. Let's do this, let's see how we can fix this! (I figured out how to update from version 29.4 to 50.2, performance improves by 2x!)Ģ) By default, if computers have an integrated GPU (MOST?!), the task to run RPG Maker games is delegated to the integrated GPU and not the Dedicated/Performance GPU by default (the crap GPU runs the game, not the good one!!!) (THIS IS WHAT THIS GUIDE IS ALL ABOUT!) This Guide covers my second big discovery that I want to bring to the forefront for all RPG Maker Developers and Players.ġ) RPG Maker MV uses a super old and crapy version of NW.js. why is this not COMMON knowledge? How come I have never ran into this explanation the entire time I been struggling to optimize my game as much as possible? So I did more digging and I finally found the last piece of the puzzle (I ran experiments on multiple PCs and laptops)Īnd I found it. IT NEEDS TO BE 60 FPS! THIS SHOULD NOT BE SO DIFFICULT! There was be something else I am missing! I felt I was close to something. ![]() Even though performance increased more than 2x something still bothered me a lot. :: IMPORTANT :: However, even though the computers started running games 2x better with the NW.js update (Powerful computers initially ran my game at 15-25 FPS was now running my game at 55-60 FPS), this was not enough for me. The first discovery, a super easy and fast way to upgrade the NW.js of RPG Maker MV to make games run 2x better (Link below)! and I always ran across explanations that made me understand the complexity of game engines for sure (people saying that 2d game engines are still so complex as justification for poor performance, etc), but still, I was never fully satisfied, I never felt like I found a good reason for RPG Maker MV games running so poorly.Īfter doing my best to create the very best/optimized game I could make, I just accepted the fact that the RPG Maker MV engine is poorly optimized, and I just had to live with it.Īll of this changed once I made a huge discovery which quickly lead to a second huge discovery! OMG!! I looked for answers, (I looked for the entire 5 years it took to create Killer Gin on MV). It has never made sense to me, and this has really bothered me because I really wanted my game to run well (since its a commercial game)! How could anyone take me seriously as a video game developer if I had a hard time optimizing a simple 2d game? Is the RPG Maker Engine really that poorly optimized? How can these simple 2d graphics bog down powerful computers?! How come powerful Gaming PCs/Laptops that can run triple A Games like WOW (old I know), Just Cause 4, and Assassins Creed well (in 4k) somehow, for some awful reason, have a very difficult time running RPG Maker MV games? This is my SECOND big discovery, my first discovery being "Massively improving RPG Maker Game performance by updating the NW.js" (Link below) ![]() The reason why I am creating this thread is because I feel this is a VERY important aspect of RPG Maker games that is overlooked by most devs and players alike. |
